Self-Mastership: Become Your Own True Love

Image
A relationship is never the answer to your loneliness. The feelings of emptiness, unhappiness, depression and self-hate are already inside of you. Most people tend to create new relationships based not on what they want, but in response to what they perceive to lack. They look outside of themselves, saying, “ when I find someone, I will be happy, satisfied, and fulfilled ’. When they do find someone to have a relationship with, it is exciting and fulfilling for a few months, or maybe a few years. When the original feelings come up again, they start blaming the other person for their loneliness, depression, self-hate and their unhappy life, and may even start to hate the other person. The other person, in turn, may dim their own light, by demanding your energy, time, and your personality. It is their fear, their pain and their depression that starts chasing you, sucking your energy and imprisoning your beautiful free soul. You may do the same to them because of your own emptiness.

Sayer Ji,  Green Med Info A simple tablespoon daily of coconut oil could promote weight loss and improve cardiovascular health, reveals a new clinical study.  A new study titled, “ A coconut extra virgin oil-rich diet increases HDL cholesterol and decreases waist circumference and body mass in coronary artery disease patients ,” holds great promise in those suffering from overweight, obesity, and heightened cardiovascular disease risk, and against which pharmaceutical approaches often fail. was once considered a “bad fat,” as it contains saturated fatty acids which conventional nutritionists did not distinguish from synthetically produced ones such as margarine. We know far better now, and increasingly, natural sources of saturated fats are gaining appreciation as not only “not-bad,” but actually beneficial,  particularly for the brain . You can check

Your Genes Don’t Tell the Whole Story, And There’s A Fascinating Reason Why That Is (Mind-Altering)

Image
We’ve all heard the expression, ‘ they were just born that way,’ and while our genes are our genes, there is much we can do to change them, contrary to long-standing beliefs in medical and scientific circles to the contrary. Through ‘gene expression’ a whole new world is available to us, and it all happens through the choices we make. Not all of our genes are active all the time, and scientists have only recently admitted that behind the deterministic view that our genetic code is ‘locked’ once we get it from our parents, we’ve learned that epigenetics and gene expression affect genes at a profound level. In fact, the human genetic code has layers of information, which only gets turned on when certain environmental cues occur. When the genetic code was deciphered in the 1960s scientists incorrectly assumed that all it did was encode proteins. Only recently did scientists figure out that genomes use our genetic code to write in two different languages – one hidden on top of the other

PHOTOS: These Edgy Ads Expose The Hypocrisy Of The Corporate Sponsors For The UN Climate Change Conference collective-evolution

Image
Today, November 30th, marked the beginning of the 21st United Nations Climate Change Conference which is being held in Le Bourget, a suburb of Paris, France. The annual event brings together prominent members from around the world to discuss possible solutions to the ever-present climate change issue that, by this point, is weighing heavily on many of our minds. The goal of this year’s event, running from November 30th to December 11th, is to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate action from all nations of the world. Rather than discussing the agenda of this get together, however, I’d like to focus instead on a very clever guerrilla marketing campaign that has broken out in protest of the corporate sponsors of this annual pow-wow. A group that goes by the name of Brandalism  and claims to be an “unofficial partner” of the Paris talks has installed more than 600 artworks which portray the hypocrisy of a number of the event’s corporate sponsors — sponsors which i

How Synchronicity Signals Our Bigger Purpose collective-evolution

Image
“ In shamanic cultures, synchronicities are recognized as signs that you are on the right path. ” – Daniel Pinchbeck We are all familiar with the phrase, time is money – but what if we changed our perspective and shifted to the idea of time being art , and creativity being the new currency ? The film Time is Art   explores this idea through a documentary which weaves together an intricate story of how life, death, dimensions, and synchronicities allow for our bigger picture to unfold… if we just allow . According to the film’s official website : The documentary film follows  Jennifer , a writer who is compelled to make sense of the mysterious and powerful energy she felt at her aunt’s deathbed. A series of strange coincidences leads her on an exploration of synchronicity – the concept that everything is interconnected, and that time is not so much a chronology as it is an infinite cycle. Considering herself something of a skeptic, she treads the fine line between nervous breakdow

The Black Knight Satellite: What’s This Object Nikola Tesla Concluded Was Extraterrestrial? collective-evolution

*The photo used in this article comes directly from The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth , a government website operated by NASA at the Earth Sciences and Image Analysis department at Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. They are responsible for training the astronauts in Earth observations, cataloging and archiving the photographs that astronauts take from space using hand held cameras and more. It is one of several mysterious objects that’ve been photographed by astronauts from space.  It’s known as the “Black Knight satellite,” and although it wasn’t confirmed by scientists until 1932, Serbian inventor and genius Nikola Tesla discovered it in 1899 while in his Colorado Springs laboratory, hearing strange rhythmic sounds on his radio receiver. The confirmation in 1932 gave birth to the field of radio astronomy, which is now used to decode and detect messages from distant stars and other mysterious celestial sources. Tesla writes: I can never forget the first sensations I experi

Company Wants to Resurrect Humans with Artificial Intelligence Within 30 Years

Remember the sci-fi movie Transcendence where the main character dies and his consciousness gets transferred into a computer? It is possible that something like this may soon become a reality; at least, this is what one company says. Well, at the moment, such a possibility still belongs to the category of science fiction, but it seems that a start-up called Humai has some ambitious plans for making it happen. The company actually promises to resurrect humans by transferring their consciousness into an artificial body. In fact, the technology necessary to do something like this doesn’t exist yet, but the company claims to be able to resurrect the first human within 30 years . How are they going to achieve it? According to the company’s website , the first step will be to “ store data of conversational styles, behavioral patterns, thought processes and information about how your body functions from the inside-out ” with the help of artificial intelligence and nanotechnology. Then,

Love In Practice: Communicating With Care In Your Heart collective-evolution

Image
In all communication, there is one thing that each and every one us requires. We all want to be appreciated, honoured, and respected. None of us want to feel criticized, rejected, ignored, or manipulated. To reduce it to its simplest terms, we each want to feel loved. I do not mean love in a romantic sense, or some outpouring of emotion, but simple caring. This is the universal bottom line of every human relationship. We all want to feel cared for. If each of us would like to be treated with care and respect, then it should be our intent to do so for others. But what often happens is the exact opposite. Instead of trying to ensure that the other person feels loved and appreciated, we end up in a vicious circle of recrimination and attack. It usually starts by our feelings hurt over something someone said or did. Whether they intended to hurt us or whether it is all our own creation does not matter. The fact is we feel hurt, and if we are not fully conscious of our own inner processes

The Problem is Drug Law, Not Drugs

The war-on-drugs has been one of the biggest policy failures of modern society. It amplifies drug-related problems and doesn’t recognize that altered states of consciousness play a perfectly natural role within the human experience. It is clear that many governments of the world have failed to truly accept some extremely important facts around dealing with the substances that make their way through our communities. Examples include: Laws have criminalized drugs into one of the top five industries in the world , ensuring all its activity is managed within the black market; When you send this industry underground it’s going to result with impure, unsafe and unnecessary substances on the market ; Drug policies result with more socioeconomic issues and increases the amount of crime and unnecessary incarcerations in our societies; It is perfectly natural for humans to explore altered states of consciousness  so the newer generations need access to safe substances and legal sub
